It blew my mind today because we were busier than Christmas. Today was the height of the tax-free weekend, yet so many people purchased clothing as if it was a special day to buy clothes?
Food and clothing in my state have no tax, but you would think that they did by the sheer amount of clothing scanned through my store's registers. I witnessed totals equivalent to Black Friday.
Simply makes absolutely no sense how people are rationalizing their purchases, I guess we've still got a long way to go before the economy gets stable.
